Ioannis Sochorakis had the opportunity to participate in Jeff Starks' ambitious site specific immersive theater piece "The Dreary Coast". Audience members were embarking on a journey through the Brooklyn Canals floating on a raft, encountering actors and performers at bridges, docks, and buildings along the canal and throughout the neighborhood. A crew of over 50 New York artists was bluring the edge between landmarks in the neighborhood and the mythic locations of Greek and Roman myths, pieces of Dante's Inferno, and blasts of black metal.
